Karan-Kangana Fight Continues, See What KJo Has To Say Now...
Further taking on Kangana Ranaut’s ‘nepotism’ remark, Karan Johar said a lot more to Anupama Chopra at LSE. See it for yourself
Last night SpotboyE.com told you how Karan Johar hit back
at Kangana Ranaut over her accusation of him being the “flag-bearer of
nepotism” in an interview with Anupama Chopra at the London School Of
Economics.
The ace filmmaker responded to Anupama saying that
Kangana doesn't seem to know the meaning of nepotism as he has not promoted any
of his family members in the industry. He added that he has in fact introduced
15 new directors, most of whom have no Bollywood connections, and so clearly he
is not nepotistic.
Now, here’s the interview video which will has lots more
than what we had told you.
To begin with Karan addressed the controversial episode
which featured Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan and said, “I appreciated she
had great perspective and everyone lauded her because she came on my show and
gave it off to Karan, according to what everyone said. I was gracious enough to
keep everything. I cut none of it. I could have edited so much, it is my show.
I said no, this is her opinion and let the world see it. I gave her the
platform.”
He continued and said, “I am done with Kangana playing
the woman and victim card. I am DONE! You cannot be this victim at every given
point of time who has a sad story to tell about how you’ve been terrorised by
the bad world of the industry… leave it.”
Taking you back to how it all started, Kangana accused
Karan of being the flag-bearer of nepotism, called him ‘snooty and intolerant’
to outsiders in the film industry, and said that he is running a ‘movie mafia’.
Later, responding to a Twitter user — who asked KJo about
his views on Kangana’s remarks — Karan had said: “Not entirely! She made an
impact with her sweeping statements! That was fun... for her!
Clearly, Karan had loads to say.
